Johnny Kapahala: Back On Board

Johnny Kapahala: Back On Board is a 2007 Disney comedy directed by Eric Bross. It is a sequel to the 1999 movie Johnny Tsunami. When Hawaiian surf legend Johnny Tsunami (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) decides to marry his girlfriend Carla (Robyn Lively), Johnny's grandson, teen snowboarder Johnny "Pono" Kapahala (Brandon Baker), flies to Oahu to attend the ceremony. Once he arrives, he meets his Uncle Chris (Jake T. Austin), Carla's son who is just 12 years old. Johnny learns that Chris has befriended the Dirt Devils, a team that participates in the newest sports craze of dirtboarding. Johnny has a great time learning how to dirtboard and begins to grow closer to Chris as they do the sport together. However, Johnny soon discovers that Troy (Phil Brown), the sponsor of the Dirt Devils and the owner of a local store, is trying to shut down his grandfather's new surf shop. In order to save the store, Johnny, his grandfather, and Chris must band together to find a way to defeat Troy. MORE [EDIT]
