John Waters: This Filthy World documents the cult director's one-man show about his life, art and looks and the inspirations behind his famous films. Water first became famous as a "trash" film director with films like "Pink Flamingos" and "Desperate Living," which depicted shocking behavior from an assortment of societal misfits. He later achieved more mainstream success with films like "Hairspray," but retained his cult status as a connoisseur of the unusual, strange and hidden aspects of American culture.
