Radio station custodian Joe Dirt (Spade) is asked to join morning talk radio host Zander Kelly (Miller) on account of his extreme white trash nature. To the DJ's surprise Joe has a great story to tell about love, loss, and a quest to discover where he comes from. Joe was abandoned by his parents at the Grand Canyon as a child. Ever since that fateful day, he has been searching for them.
