Jekyll & Hyde...Together Again

Jekyll & Hyde...Together Again is a 1982 film adaptation of the novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. The film follows surgeon and medical researcher Dr. Jekyll (Mark Blankfield) as he explores the nature of man through a series of experiments. He eventually invents a white powder, suspiciously reminiscent of cocaine, that releases man's primal nature. The powder, in fact, turns anyone who ingests it into a hedonist pursuing all sorts of urges. Of course, the white powder also turns Dr. Jekyll into his wild and crazy alter ego Mr. Hyde. This causes havoc for Jekyll as he is cheating on his wife and generally behaving badly. Yet, he cannot quit taking the addictive white powder even when it is destroying his life. Jekyll and Hyde...Together Again is both a hilarious parody of Stevenson's classic tale and a pointed satire of 1980s drug culture. MORE [EDIT]
