Jeet Kune Do Advanced Drills is an instructional martial arts video that focuses on black belt Jeet Kune Do (JKD), the popular fighting style of the legendary Bruce Lee. Director Michael Blesch films actor and stuntman Jeremy Lynch performing advanced moves in front of the camera for his advanced kung-fu students. The film opens with a short biography on Bruce Lee, who brought the hybrid martial arts style from Hong Kong to Los Angeles in the 1970s. Blesch then enters a room of advanced students and warms them up with a few basic JKD drills. Sophisticated trapping methods are up next with the instructor showing his students how to subdue and immobilize their opponents. Blesch then proceeds to attack by combination and hand immobilization techniques. Each student in his class gets a chance to practice their instruction in front of the camera, giving audiences an idea of how each technique works in combat. Blesch continues his JKD lessons and gives his class their final lessons, including combat realism training, attack by drawing theory, black belt grappling and kicking instruction, and advanced progressive indirect attack moves.MORE[EDIT]
