Jagged Edge is a 1985 courtroom thriller starring Glenn Close and Jeff Bridges. Jack Forrester (Bridges) is shocked to learn of his wife's brutal murder, and even more shocked to learn he's the prime suspect in the case. A vindictive prosecuting attorney named Thomas Krasny (Peter Coyote) is convinced Jack is the murderer. Jack's only hope is to hire Teddy Barnes (Close), a hot-shot lawyer who's known for her skill in the courtroom. There's bad blood between Krasny and Barnes, though, and she's hesitant to take another case against him. After a talk with Ransom (Robert Loggia), a detective who shares her distrust of Krasny, Barnes decides she's going to win this case and beat her rival attorney.
