Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is the second installment in the blockbuster adventure franchise, chronicling the further adventures of swashbuckling archeologist Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford). After nearly losing his life trading a small statue for a large diamond in Shanghai, Doctor Jones ' diminutive sidekick Short Round in town ' narrowly escapes with sultry lounge singer Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) tagging along. Somewhere over India, their plane ride is sabotaged and they have to make an emergency landing by life raft.
