Iggy Pop: Live San Fran 1981

Iggy Pop: Live San Fran 1981 is a concert documentary about the self-professed "Godfather of punk rock," Iggy Pop. The movie was filmed on Nov. 25th, 1981, at the end of his "Party Iggy and Co." album tour. After gaining immense popularity as the front man for The Stooges, Iggy gives a solo performance at what is considered the height of his career. This movie is one of only a handful of Iggy's documented live performances. To back up his performance, Iggy enlists some of the best musicians in the business including "Blondie" drummer, Clem Burke and future David Bowie guitarist, Carlos Alomar. Always unpredictable, Iggy dances around on stage clad in a mini-skirt and stockings as he belts out tunes such as "Some Weird Sin," "Bang, Bang," "Lust For Life," "I'm a Conservative" and "Rock and Roll Party."
