Hugo and the Dragon was filmed in 2001 in French as Hugo et le Dragon, by Delphis Films of Montreal, Quebec. This musical fantasy tells the tale of young Hugo's battles with the dragon Bijou. Bijou has eaten the sun and stars from the Milky Way and plunged Hugo's village of Tomtitou into darkness. With the help of his star friend, the mysterious Aramis, Hugo bravely takes on the dragon Bijou, who is determined to torment the boy any way he can. Hugo experiences a range of emotions from desperation to hope as he searches for the missing stars and seeks to restore order to the universe.
