Hologram Man

Hologram Man is a 1995 science fiction thriller written by Evan Lurie and directed by Richard Pepin In the near future, convicted criminals are digitized and sentenced to storage in holographic stasis. Their minds are preserved, while their bodies are destroyed. Psychopathic international terrorist Norman 'Slash' Galagher (Evan Lurie) suffers this fate after he is convicted of a homicidal crime spree. After five years in stasis he goes up for parole. During the hearing, the holographic equipment is hacked by Galagher's associates which leads to a catastrophic failure and Galagher receiving god-like powers. With the help of advanced polymer technology that aids the with the fabrication of a new body, Galagher breaks free from holographic prison and begins a rampage that threatens to take over the wold, or destroy it while trying.
