Hoffa is a 1992 biographical film directed by Danny DeVito. The film chronicles the life of Teamster Union President, Jimmy Hoffa (Jack Nicholson). Told in a series of flashbacks, the movie begins with Hoffa waiting in the parking lot of a diner with his long time friend Bobby Ciaro (Danny Devito). Suddenly, Hoffa is transported back to 1935. Hoffa approaches a truck to find a sleeping Ciaro. He wakes him up and starts talking to him about the benefits of becoming a union member. Later, when Hoffa relates his meeting with Ciaro to a group of workers, Ciaro is fired. Angry, Ciaro comes at Hoffa with a knife. Hoffa's right hand man, Billy Flynn (Robert Prosky), stops him at gunpoint. From that point on, Ciaro and Hoffa become good MORE [EDIT]
