Hello Down There is a comedy from 1969. Fred Miller (Tony Randall) is a marine scientist who invents an experimental underwater living environment. The corporation funding his research threatens to end the program because it's unrealistic, so Miller volunteers his family to live in the underwater home to prove that it is possible. When his wife Vivian (Janet Leigh), and his kids hear about the agreement, they're not too happy about the 30 day experiment but agree to do it for their dad. The kids, Lorrie Miller (Kay Cole) and Tommie Miller (Gary Tigerman), are in a rock band. They invite the lead singer and drummer to join their underwater adventure. The underwater home is 90 feet below the ocean's surface and is filled with adventures. Soon, they have a live-in seal named Gladys and a pair of dolphins as pets. It isn't quiet below the surface; there is a rival science team from Undersea Development Inc. mining the ocean floor and competing with Miller's research. This underwater film adventure is fun viewing for all ages.MORE[EDIT]
