Hellboy Animated: Blood and Iron is a 2007 animated film that tells the story of Erzsebet Ondrushko (Kath Soucie), an Eastern European vampiress who sacrificed young innocent women to the Goddess Hecate and bathed in their blood in order to stay young. Told in a series of reverse flashbacks, the story begins in 1939 when a young Professor Bruttenholm (John Hurt) is investigating a series of murders. Following clues, Bruttenholm and his search party track Erzsebet to her castle. Everyone is killed except Professor Bruttenholm, who tricks Erzsebet into the light where she disintegrates. Now, years later, the elderly Professor Bruttenholm finds himself in upstate New York after retiring from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and MORE [EDIT]
