Hearts in Atlantis is a nostalgic feel good peek into a boy's coming of age in the 1950s tinged with a hint of something supernatural. Based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King, the story starts as the elder Bobby Garfield (David Morse, The Green Mile, The Rock, Contact) receives an odd package in the mail: a baseball glove that belonged to one of his most cherished childhood friends ' along with the news that the glove is now his because his friend has just passed away.
