Hang ÔEm High is a Western film directed by Ted Post that follows a man seeking his revenge against the men who unjustly tried to lynch him in the Oklahoma Territory in 1889. Nine men, including Captain Wilson (Ed Begley), Miller (Bruce Dern), Charlie Blackfoot (Ned Romero), and Loomis (L.Q. Jones), had surrounded Jed Cooper (Clint Eastwood) as he was taking his newly purchased cattle across pasture, accusing him of working with a rustler who had killed the herd's original owner. Disbelieving his story, the nine rob him and leave him for dead, hanging from a tree.
