Grayeagle

Grayeagle is a classic story of a bygone era, filled with romance, drama, local color, and some spectacular fight scenes. Rancher John Colter's (Ben Johnson) beautiful daughter Beth Colter (Lana Wood) is kidnapped by a Cheyenne warrior Grayeagle (Alex Cord), and taken to a Cheyenne camp where she encounters both, ordeal and adventure. Although initially the abducted girl is petrified of her kidnapper, her feelings undergo a profound change when she learns later that he is essentially a noble man. Meanwhile, a search is initiated by her father to retrieve his daughter. In his quest, the rancher is accompanied by an Indian friend (Iron Eyes Cody) and a frontiersman (Jack Elam). This slick Western is beautifully filmed with wide open spaces and spectacular scenery. The story is powerful and the plot develops effortlessly and elegantly. Due to its grand adventure, impressive fight scenes and a poignant climax, the movie packs a great deal of appeal to Indian Western fans. Grayeagle is skillfully directed by Charles B.
