Grandma's Boy is a comedy film that centers on the antics of Alex (Allen Covert), a video game tester who lives with his friend, Josh (Johnathan Loughran). When Josh spends all of their rent money on hookers, he and Alex are evicted. After a failed attempt at moving in with a friend, Alex is forced to move in with his grandmother, Lilly (Doris Roberts). He is assigned household chores, but finds it hard to complete them as Lilly and her friends, Grace (Shirley Jones) and Bea (Shirley Knight) are always distracting him. A series of comedic events involving his grandmother and her friends ensue. As he becomes settled with his new living situation, Alex works on creating a new video game.
