Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla is a 1993 Japanese monster film and the 20th installment of the Godzilla series. The Japanese Self Defense Forces are desperate for a way to get the upper hand against Godzilla. The atomic dinosaur has destroyed great cities and whole islands time and time again. On their quest for a new weapon, the JSDF recover the remains of Mecha-King Ghidora, the mechanical monster they'd once hoped would beat Godzilla once and for all. Mecha-King Ghidora died from his fight with Godzilla, but the JSDF plan to use the monster's mechanical parts to create an all-new robotic warrior. What they create is Mechagodzilla, a monster fashioned after Godzilla himself. When humans discover a baby Godzilla egg, they have the bait they need to lure Godzilla into a fight. Will Mechagodzilla defeat the green colossus once and for all, or will the humans suffer another crippling defeat? Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla is an action-packed film, featuring a celebrated score by Akira Ifukube.MORE[EDIT]
