Gigi is the popular and acclaimed 1958 musical comedy romance, adapted from the novel by Colette and brought to the screen by movie musical master Vincente Minnelli (The Band Wagon, An American in Paris). It is the story of a young girl (Leslie Caron) in the France of the 1900s. She is being educated to become a courtesan, though she seems blissfully unaware of this, being a tomboy.
