Ghostbusters is a 1984 comedy directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. When a team of parapsychologists (Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis) lose their academic funding, they've got to find a new way to make some money. Their solution: capture ghost for a living. Business is slow at first, but then a concert cellist (Sigourney Weaver) gives them a call. She doesn't know it, but she has a fridge containing an extremely dangerous being named Zoul. The Ghostbusters have to get serious (not that serious, really) and bust this ghost. The critical and financial response to the film was overwhelming.
