Ghost Town Gold is part of The Three Mesquiteers movie series, featuring three cowboys as they venture through the Old West. When the gold is stolen from a local bank and the banker is blamed for its disappearance, the Three Mesquiteers team up to prove the banker's innocence. Tucson Smith (Ray Corrigan), Stony Brooke (Robert Livingston), and Lullaby Joslin (Max Terhune) set off in search of the gold that has been stolen by Dirk Barrington (LeRoy Mason) and his gang. In an effort to incriminate the man who threw their gang out of town, Barrington's men rob the bank and stash all the gold in a nearby ghost town.
