Get Your Stuff is a perfect example of a movie that depicts modern families. Phil (Cameron Watson) and Eric (Anthony Meindl), a gay couple living in Beverly Hills, California have all they can wish for, except for one thing, a child. Looking to start a family, Phil and Eric visit childcare services to find a possible child for adoption. During the process, the childcare services suggest that Phil and Eric should foster brothers for one night. The couple agrees to do so, but things go wrong from here. Phil and Eric end up fostering the brothers for multiple nights, find out that these brothers are against the gay community, find out that their mom is an alcoholic prostitute, and these brothers are more than happy to cause trouble.
