Get Carter is a 2000 action film and remake of the 1971 classic of the same name, starring Sylvester Stallone as the eponymous Jack Carter, a mobster who goes on a bloody quest for vengeance after his brother is killed by an unknown third party. Carter is an accomplished enforcer for the mob. After returning to his hometown of Seattle, he learns his brother, Ritchie, has died in a car accident. The police have written off the accident as drunk driving, but Carter has a sneaking suspicion someone made Ritchie crash that day. Carter suits up and begins his own investigation, intent on taking out the criminals responsible for Ritchie's untimely death.
