Gente Decente

Gente Decente, known as Decent People in English, is a 2004 Chilean film about a lawyer in an up-and-coming law firm in Santiago, Chile. The lawyer, Andres Barros (Luciano Cross), is getting married and his friends, including his partner Roberto (Francisco Melo, ) are throwing him a bachelor party. In the course of events, Andres ends up in bed with a prostitute, Gloria (Viviana Rodriguez.) After the bachelor party, Andres and Gloria continue their passionate relationship when she shows up at is office. Soon Andres is tangled up in a series of sex, lies and blackmail. His life begins to fall apart as he neglects his work and his relationship with Rosario (Katyna Humberman), his finance. With a dead body in the bathtub, and a pimp, a whore, and a doorman making his life miserable, he wonders "Where are the decent people?"
