Gene Autry: Indian Territory is a 1950 western directed by John English that features the famous singing cowboy, Gene Autry. The film takes place right after the Civil War and follows Gene Autry as a former confederate cavalry captain who is now a sergeant within the Union Army. Autry is assigned to help break up reoccurring Apache Indian raids on the frontier. He works alongside the scout Shadrac Jones (played by Pat Buttram) and the two of them find out that the Apache renegades are being led by a half white man who is working for a Caucasian Austrian. They are Curt Raidler and the Apache Kid and they are gun running. It is up to Gene and Shadrac to stop these bad guys, and also deal with LT Randolph Mason, who is in love with MORE [EDIT]
