Mule Train is a 1950 musical western directed by John English that stars the famous singing cowboy Gene Autry. The film was loosely based on the popular record from Frankie Laine. An old prospector named Smokey Argyle (played by Pat Buttram) uncovers a natural cement and wants to use it for a nearby dam building project. However an unscrupulous businessman named Sam Brady (played by Robert Livingston) plans to thwart the miner's attempts as he and his men have a monopoly over the wagons that are currently hauling rocks to the site of the dam building. Now it is up to Gene Autry (an undercover US Marshall), his trusty horse Champion, and a pretty lady sheriff (played by Sheila Ryan) to stop Brady and his men. Gene sings the MORE [EDIT]
