Gene Autry Collection: Last of the Pony Riders is a theatrical film that stars Gene Autry. Gene Autry is a singing cowboy and Gene Autry Collection: Last of the Pony Riders is his last feature in this role. Autry's role entails that he provides protection for the Pony Express. He needs to keep the west safe for the mail riders as a new stagecoach line is being established. His opposition is a crooked banker named Clyde Vesey that is played by Howard Wright. Vesey wants to take over the mail franchise for himself and incorporates murder to aid him in this endeavor. Clyde Vesey enlists the aid of a band of outlaw bandits who disguise themselves as Indians. This outlaw posse wreaks havoc on the mail service under the direction of MORE [EDIT]
