Gene Autry Collection: Call of the Canyon stars Gene Autry as a crooning cowboy leading a group of ranchers seeking justice from a corrupt chief cattle buyer who is ripping off the cattlemen to pay off his gambling losses. Gene Autry takes action, halting his dishonest practices and to settling the score with the cheated ranchers using unconventional methods. When they try to go to a new market an explosion ends up killing a rancher and raising the stakes. In the process Gene meets a young woman, Kit Carson (Ruth Terry), an aspiring country singer, who he can help by singing on her radio program.
