Final Destination is a supernatural thriller that follows Death as it goes after a group of teens that escaped an explosion that should have left them dead. Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) is getting ready to board a trans-Atlantic flight with his classmates for a school trip to France. After boarding the flight, he gets a vision of the plane bursting into flames just after take-off. He tries to convince the airline personnel something is wrong but his pleas fall on deaf ears.
