Fetching Cody (2005) is a romantic-drama written and directed by David Ray. The movie's plot revolves around a small-time drug dealer who travels through time in a desperate attempt to save the life of his comatose girlfriend. Art (Jay Baruchel) is the small-time drug peddler in love with his drug-addict girlfriend Cody (Sarah Lind). Art returns home one night to find Cody overdosed on the floor and slipping into a coma. Art frantically seeks help at the home of his old friend Harvey (Jim Byrnes). Harvey claims that his old beat-up recliner is, in fact, a time machine.
