Fear City

Fear City is a 1984 action-thriller about a serial killer who is an expert in martial arts and preys on strippers at the largest strip club in Manhattan, owned by Matt Rossi (Tom Berenger) and Nicky Parzeno (Jack Scalia). The serial killer attends the club night after night stalking and waiting for his victims. Rossi is a former boxer who retired after accidentally killing an opponent in the ring. He sees his whole business being threatened and fears that the woman he loves may be the next victim. Rossi and Nicky suspect that a mob boss, Carmine (Rossano Brazzi), is behind it all. They decide to take matters into their own hands and they engage Carmine and his gang in a gunfight, but are they going after the right people? Meanwhile, a police detective named Al Wheeler (Billy Dee Williams) is relentlessly pursuing Rossi and Nicky trying to pin something on them.
