Farther Than The Eye Can See is a 2003 documentary directed by Michael Brown that follows the story of the blind climber Erik Weihenmayer as he successfully climbs Mount Everest. It also features four other impressive 'firsts' that occurred on Everest. It was produced by Snag Films. While people questioned the wisdom behind a blind min climbing Everest, the success of his journey, and this subsequent documentary proved that people working with each other, united in a common vision, can accomplish their goal, no matter how possibly outlandish it may seem.
