Executive Power

Executive Power is a political drama that focuses around the United States President (William Atherton) who is having an affair. Somehow his affair takes a wrong turn and the young woman he was seeing turns up dead. Needing help, the President turns to Secret Service Agent Nick (Craig Sheffer) to dispose of the body discretely. Nick isn't happy with the situation and would rather not help the President out of the sticky situation he has gotten himself in, but he really doesn't have a choice. The movie than fast forwards to three years later and it is two weeks until Election Day, when suddenly a White House aide falls dead with no explanation. It is the same aide that witnessed the death of the President's girlfriend. Nick becomes suspicious and he starts investigating the deaths of the two people, while also trying to stay alive himself. Nick must face both his pending mortality and his own morality to figure out how to solve the problem. MORE [EDIT]
