Executive Decision

Executive Decision is 1996 suspense thriller about a group of terrorists taking a plane loaded with nerve gas into the United States. Nagi Hassan (David Suchet) and a group of Islamic hijackers take over a flight headed to Washington D.C. from Athens. Although they claim they want their leader released from prison as ransom for the 400 passengers aboard, intelligence agent Lt. Colonel Austin Travis (Steven Seagal) suspects a darker plot and discovers enough lethal gas to wipe out the entire East Coast of the United States. The U.S. military engineers a possible solution to maneuver soldiers on to the plane with a high-tech jet and take back control of the aircraft. Onboard, covert intelligence officer David Grant (Kurt Russell) and stewardess Jean (Halle Berry) will have to help military operatives Cappy (Joe Morton) and Rat (John Leguizamo) against a ruthless gang of terrorists in order to save the passengers and the American public.
