Eric Carr: Tale of the Fox

Eric Carr: Tale of the Fox is a documentary about the life of Eric Carr, the former drummer for the rock band Kiss. Eric Carr, born Paul Charles Caravello, played drums in a number of cover bands throughout the 1970s. By 1979, after many years struggling to make it in the music business without getting a break, Carr was considering settling down with a non-musical career. He was working with his father as an oven repair man in Brooklyn when he learned that Kiss was holding open auditions for a new drummer. Carr aced the audition and performed with the band on the hit 1981 album Music from "The Elder". In addition to drumming, Carr also played guitar, bass guitar, piano and sang background vocals. Eric was a key member of Kiss until his tragic cancer-related death in 1991. Tale of the Fox provides insight into Eric's life through never-before-seen interviews, outtakes and pictures.
