Enemies of Laughter is 2000 romantic comedy written by Glen Merzer and directed by Joey Travolta. Paul Halpern (David Paymer) is a neurotic, failed state and sitcom writer with a less than stellar love life. Paul's dates don't just stand him up, he sends them fleeing.
