El Favor is a film that shows audiences how an Argentinean gay couple fulfills their dream of having a child. Pablo Sofovich directs this comedy that stars Javier Lombardo as Felipe, an Argentinean farmer who artificially inseminates turkeys. He does not know that his sister Mora (Bernarda Pag''s) is a lesbian and is living with her girlfriend Roberta (Victoria Onetto). Mora has kept her homosexuality hidden from her family and does everything possible to continue to hide it. Mora and Roberta decide to marry and have a child. The problem is how to find a suitable donor in a country where homosexuality is frowned upon. Mora asks Felipe if he would father Roberta's baby. She explains that Roberta is just a friend in need of some help. Felipe finds the request absurd and has problems of his own to deal with. His fiance, Faustina (Mariana Briski), who he met on the internet and only once in person, is coming to town. Mora considers whether to tell her brother the truth after he becomes suspicious of her relationship with Roberta. The confusion starts after Felipe agrees to help Roberta and decides to perform the procedure himself, just as his fiance walks in the door.MORE[EDIT]
