Earth Minus Zero

Earth Minus Zero is a family sci-fi comedy that shows how two kids battle aliens to save their parents and the world. Director Joey Travolta opens the film with Debbie (Marcia Strassman) getting ready for work and asking her husband Marshall (Sam J. Jones) to stop messing with his gadgets and to find a real job. Marshall is an unemployed inventor, working on a machine that will solve world hunger by enlarging food ten times its size. Their children Joey (Marcia Strassman) and Cindy (Brittney Lee Harvey) soon arrive at school, where Joey's only friend is a retiring science professor, Dr. Mobuis (Pat Morita), who protects Joey from school bullies. Meanwhile, two aliens (Scott Carr and Dan McGee) put the finishing touches on a hand-held device that shrinks human beings. They test it on Debbie and Marshal, who according to the aliens would make great exhibits at their zoo back home. Joey and Cindy come home to find the aliens hovering over their incest-sized parents. Joey manages to zap one of them, and hold the alien hostage, until he can think of a plan. He finds Dr. Mobuis and the three take on the aliens, but not before the doctor realizes that he may know how to fix dad's new invention. MORE [EDIT]
