Sherlock Holmes is asked by Watson to investigate the theft of an inexpensive music box at the home of a friend, who is later murdered. The music box holds the key to five pound printing plates stolen from the bank of England. A convict hides the clues to the location of the bank plates in the music boxes he builds in prison. Three unsuspecting victims obtain the boxes at an auction and Holmes, with his faithful partner, Watson, follows their trail of death to the killer. Holmes must deal with one of the most cunning female adversaries he has ever dealt with. Well written and directed, and the performances will hold Holmes fans on the edge of their seats as the suspense builds.[EDIT]
