Desperado is a 1995 action-packed thriller starring Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Joaquim de Alameida, Carlos Gallardo, Albert Michel Jr. and Steve Buscemi. Directed by Robert Rodriguez, Desperado is the sequel to Rodriguez's 1992 "El Mariachi." The movie centers around El Mariachi (Banderas), a mysterious desperado, who totes a guitar filled with guns.
