Damned River is a 1989 action adventure film directed by Michael Schroeder. The film follows a group of four steriotypical party animal Americans who are whitewater rafting down the Zambezi River in Africa. They have hired a river guide named Ray (played by Stephen Shellen) to navigate them down the river. However the Americans did not realize that Ray is actually a crazed and psychotic killer. The further downstream they go and the more turbulent the rapids become the more vicious Ray becomes as well. Pretty soon Ray is attacking his passengers both mentally and physically. Can the passengers escape from the madman? This film was actually filmed on location in Zimbabwe.[EDIT]
