Cyborg 3 follows the plight of Cash (Khrystyne Haje), the cyborg heroine from Cyborg 2. The peace between man and cyborg has come to an end. Cyborgs are hunted by men and are destroyed on sight for their valuable electronic components. Cash has lived in relative safety in a free zone where cyborgs have yet to be ousted, but that is all about to change. She begins to experience frequent biomechanical breakdowns that cannot be explained by her self-diagnostic systems. When she seeks out a cyborg doctor in Silica, she learns the world-changing cause of her problems: she is pregnant.
