Crimetime is a horror thriller directed by George Sluizer and released in 1996. Bobby McMahon (Stephen Baldwin) is an American actor who lands a role on a British television series called "Crimetime." The show is a reality program that offers reenactments of recent, grisly murders. When McMahon arrives in Britain, he learns that he'll be playing a mysterious serial killer who is still at large - one who seems to enjoy the attention that the media gives his crimes. The real murderer, Sidney (Pete Postlewaite), becomes addicted to McMahon's interpretation of his crimes and increases the frequency of his murders so he can watch them on "Crimetime" the following evening.
