Creation of the Humanoids is a science fiction directed by Wesley Barry, based on Jack Williamson's novel The Humanoids, which centers on the survivors of a nuclear holocaust and the ultimate uprising of their cyborg helpers. After Earth is nearly decimated by a nuclear war, humans find themselves on the decline as their birthrate keeps falling. In order to help rebuild society, scientists create blue-skinned, silver-eyed advanced robots, disapprovingly called "clickers". When the human Dr. Raven (Don Doolittle) discovers and implements a process known as the Thalamic Treatment, the robots slowly begin to gain a personality of their own as the memories and traits of the recently deceased are copied into their servers.
