Cowboys from Texas

Cowboys from Texas is an hour-long western, directed by George Sherman. The year is 1906 and President Roosevelt has just passed the Reclamation Act, which made land available for the taking. A corrupt official in the state of Texas, named Clay Allison (Ivan Miller), wants to claim as much land as he can. He gathers his men together, with Duke Plummer (Ethan Laidlaw) in charge, and sends them out to start a war between the ranch owners in a plot to take over their land. As the cattlemen and the homesteaders battle, both sides run into problems and they blame each other. The three Mesquiteers, Stony Brook (Robert Livingston), Rusty Joslin (Raymond Hutton) and Renaldo (Duncan Renaldo), come onto the scene and try to bring peace between these feuding groups. Suspecting Plummer of sabotaging both groups, Stoney pretends to feud with his friends and joins ranks with Plummer, to find out what he is up to.
