Collapse is a 2009 documentary from director Chris Smith that presents a portrait of famous American political activist and dissident Michael Ruppert, whose political theories have captured people's minds despite the heavy charges of criticism his opponents have lobbied against him and his work. In this film, Smith gives Ruppert a venue for sharing his often-frightening theories about world politics and economics, leaving it to the audience to choose whether or not the man speaks the truth. Ruppert published a newsletter called From The Wilderness from 1998 to 2006 that shared his ideas about current political trends with a wide audience.
