Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a 2009 animated comedy from writer-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, featuring the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, Neil Patrick Harris, James Caan, and Andy Samberg and based on the book of the same name by Judi and Ron Barrett. Flint Lockwood (Hader) is an amateur inventor from the town of Swallow Falls, a prosperous island that makes money by supplying the world with sardines. However, the town's fortunes take a turn for the worse when the world suddenly realizes sardines are "super gross."
