Class Act is a comedy film directed by Randall Miller that is a hip-hop retelling of the fairy tale The Prince and the Pauper that follows two students who could be any more different from the other as their lives are switched upside down by a mistake in their school records, leaving them with a bad case of mistaken identity. Duncan Pinderhughes (Christopher "Kid" Reid) had a bright future ahead of him ' a genius, a perfect SAT score, and a spotless GPA. The only downside is that he is on the brink of failing gym. Michael "Blade" Brown (Christopher "Play" Martin) has just been released from jail with a condition to graduate from high school. When their records are mixed up, Duncan finds himself in the worst classes with a bunch of criminals while Blade ends up in the advanced classes. When the two realize the truth of what happened, they come to deal that has Duncan passing Blade's classes while Blade gives Duncan a few lessons on how to be less square. Of course, things never go right, especially when Blade's old drug lord pals come to pull him back into the job.MORE[EDIT]
