Chaos & Cadavers

Chaos & Cadavers is a 2003 British slapstick comedy directed by Niklaus Hilber. When newlyweds Edward Taggert (Nick Moran) and Samantha (Keeley Hawes) arrive at a remote country estate for their honeymoon, they notice the other guests are all men dressed in black and mistake them for magicians. They unwittingly find out that it's time for the Undertaker's Annual Convention whose members have also chosen the majestic manor as their meeting place. The creepy convention puts a damper on the couple's romance, and when the head of the Funeral Directors' Association dies under suspicious circumstances, the couple becomes embroiled in a case shrouded in mystery. Before the mystery is solved, the romantic couple ceases to speak to one another and considers divorce due to the strain of the spooky circumstances surrounding the creepy morticians and the murder of a guest.
