Carver is a 2008 horror film written and directed by Franklin Guerrero Jr. The film is allegedly based on the true-life events surrounding a group of campers whose detour through the town of Halcyon Ridge goes horribly awry. After helping the owners of a bar clear out a storage facility deep in the woods, the campers stumble across several snuff films. Because of the bizarre nature of the movies, the campers initially don't know what to think. As it turns out the two hick brothers that own the bar are kidnapping victims and brutally murdering them on film.
